PTAH
GOD CREATOR

I - GENERAL POINTS ABOUT EGYPT
Before discovering Enki in God Ptah of Egypt, it is important to seize some information about theAncient Egypt.

On this same land of Mesopotamia / Sumer have succeeded the empire of the Pharaohs of Egypt and its magnificences for over 5000 years, then still the alexandrian Hellenism, the Coptic Christianism and the Islam.
A colourful place that Mesopotamia and the entire Near East. And our contemporary history demonstrates that it is not finished and it is still the stake and the prey of many dilemma.

However, Egypt keeps an exceptional place in the memory of Mankind because her magnificence was never equalled. Full of riches, gold, immoderations and unbelievable constructions for these ancient times (as for ours), Egypt still today, fertile matrix of the western civilization, moves millions of people every year .

The Antique Egypt impress by her unity. Steady, she seems eternal. Egypt wonderfully displays the progress offered by the Sumerian Gods.
Besides the agriculture in constant development, the irrigation and the birth of the land registry, Egypt shaped a new art, that of the geometrical shape, its disciplined combinations where dominates theright angle.
In painting, in sculpture, in architecture, everything points up towards the sky, in “applied geometry”or is designed in symmetry .

However to a straight and steady art, corresponds an abundant religion of Gods with heads of animals, golden fineries, complex characters. And the divinities are associated, amalgamated to become one. Or on the contrary, the gifts and talents of a God leads to the personalization of each of his gifts, each of these talents, because too numerous. Such is the case for Ptah, as we shall see below.

Egypt is fascinated by the Life and the Death. She believes in the beyond, in the after life, and prepares her dead to cross "the worlds of below” managed by Osiris and also Anubis, to be reborn one day to the sun of .
(below, Anubis and the ritual of the opening of the mouth - above him, Maat).

So Egypt, in essence, would be more advanced than our today world. The experts continue to wonder on "how they made", whereas the Egyptian souls pursue their path towards lands where pyramids and temples will rise higher towards heavens.

Herodote, renowned Greek historian, has visited Egypt in the 5th century BC and wrote: " I come there to Egypt, about which I shall speak for a long time, because compared with any other country, it is Egypt which contains most wonders and which offers most works exceeding what we can say about them".

UPPER and LOWER EGYPT
Towards 3200 BC, Egypt unifies. So, the Upper Egypt (red crown) and the Lower Egypt (white crown) assemble to form a single crown or Pschent and a single realm.
The Pschent symbolizes perfectly the new strength of the realm which will last more than 3000 years. From now on, a unique Pharaoh will lead this civilization which will be the first one to last a very long time.

The notion of Lower and Upper Egypt has nothing pejorative or to value. These appellations are simply linked to the course of the Nile.
The Lower Egypt is the part in the North, the most fertile ,

the Upper, the part most in the South, more arid.
But the Gods will teach the men the irrigation.
Memphis where Ptah is particularly worshipped, is the most important city of Lower Egypt.
In Upper Egypt, we find Thebes and Luxor.

II - PTAH
Ptah presides over the birth of Egypt. He even engenders her.
Ptah is Enki, Great God Builder, Creator of the human race.
The names change, the Gods stay, always more powerful, because they develop their gifts and potential exactly like us, who are behind them.
This is a fundamental point on which I often shall return: the gods are also in "personal development", always " making themselves ", the gods also " work on themselves ", improve and learn, sometimes bitterly, from their choices or behaviors.
After the Big Calamity, the Anunnakis were bewildered in front of such an incredible devastation, and had wondered for a long time about their choices, their desires, their mistakes.
Enki was the sole, (we know it today, because numerous proofs give evidence) to fight to avoid this disaster. In vain. All the other gods, scorning his usual wisdom, walked straight ahead towards the nothingness. And us with them.
Here is the good side of the gods also: they progress. They refine their psychic powers, develop their technology which they pass on to us then, for our biggest comfort and sometimes, - rarely it is true, for our biggest misfortune.
But nothing can exist on this planet without having first taken shape in the divine thought.
If today we take the TGV(High Speed Train) or the plane, it is indeed because all this already exists in Ptah, then in his laboratories and other centres of studies. By telepathy then, these informations are passed on to the researchers, who suddenly "been suddenly enlightened", move forward in their researches.
Let's keep in mind:
The Gods Nephilims, led by Ptah / Enki had a technology which we do not have even today. And this one is engraved on the walls of pyramids. Look once more:
(click on the photo to enlarge it, idem for the others)

ENKI / PTAH IS ALWAYS THERE WITH US
, he will be the object of a message, very soon,

According to around Manetho, the reign of the great god Ptah on the lands of the Nile began17000 years before that of Ménès, first Pharaoh of Egypt, entirely devoted to Ptah and founder of the city of Memphis.
That is to say - 23000 BC. The Big Flood having marked hearts and cities around - 13000.
( So, the chronology given by the specialists and the other Egyptologists sounds particularly false. Despite irrefutable proofs, they persist in maintaining their "certainties" rather than to acknowledge their errors. Errors which are logical, because it is only possible to date the events or the artefacts as we discover them!)
So, given to the age of the reign of Ptah, it is not surprising that the Egyptians had associated him with numerous creative, solar and benevolent but posterior divinities.
Never, at no time of the entire history of Humankind, Enki-Ptah-Knoum was shown as irrascible, violent, destructive or contemptuous. Never, he was considered as a dangerous, arrogant or vindictive god.
Look at the difference of perception with Enlil, always furious, irascible, vindictive, merciless, determined to exterminate our race for too long. Or Ninourta and Nergal, two " throwers of nuclear missiles ", the worst being Nergal, become for the posterity the Big Annihilator !
Enki-Ptah was always revered because he was good and " heard the prayers ". The temples were during a long time built to Enlil by fear, by terror. Those built to Ptah by love and worship.
The facts keep memory, and today the Sumerian tablets, the Egyptian papyri, the scrolls, cyclinders and other frescoes, pass on to us by the writing or the image, the fundamental truth: the love and the worship of the peoples for a God cross ages and times.
Enki-Ptah-Knoum has remained the Great Benevolent God, because he is love and of a level of consciousness beyond that of the Anunnakis. And since Eons.
As Enki says it so well to his scribe Enbudsar, " he kept clean hands " and fought the Deluge torrent and the big Calimity. ALONE.
This has been attested by the historic facts.
Yes, the people revere his gods by love or by fear. But the fear engenders the escape or finally diverts heart and spirit.
Because the forgetting in the heart of the peoples is the punishment of the Gods.

The ancient peoples, and the Atlanteans before them, knew what they owed to Enki. The creation of any life on this planet. And of the Man with. The Homo Sapiens Sapiens in particular, (us, what we are)was directly engendered by Enki and his sacred seed. As him, we like to understand, to progress, to find peace. As I have already said it repeatedly, all the good in us is called Enki.

In his book Journey to the mythical past, Zecharia Sitchin, page 128, tells us one of his adventures in Egypt accompanied with his group.
"Imagine thus my delight when we came upon a beautiful statue of a bearded Ptah, unusual in that the stone surface has a metallic glow, giving the god's staff a golden hue (below) with his hieroglyphic name prominently carved on it, looking like an entwined cord. It is, I explained to my group, a stylization of the more elaborate Entwined Serpents symbol which, in turn, represented (we now know) the double-helix DNA - the emblem of medicine and healing to this day. Holding in his hands the Ankh sign of life, the statue depicted Ptah/Enki as the god of genetic engineering".

When Egypt, further to the aridity, knew the famine, always tells us Sitchin in his book When time began, a God intervened in the affairs of men, for the best. It was about Knoum, known in Egypt as Khnemu and who is another name of Enki-Ptah.
(Below, god Knoum. Look at the resemblance with Ptah in the very rectilinear attitude and the golden costume).
The Egyptians thought that Ptah, once the management of the power confided to his son Râ ( Marduk), had withdrawn on the island of Abu ( Elephantine). There, he made " two twin caves ".
These " two twin caves " were interconnected reservoirs, which aimed, as it's explained, to lock or to release the waters of the Nile.
Ptah had just created dikes, locks and reservoirs in order that Egypt wasn't any more flooded by the floods of the Nile, nor dried up.
Indeed, the Pharaoh of that time, Djoser, who built Saqqara, had brought a request in front of Ptah / Knoum. Could the Great God Potter help to contain this disaster?
Khnemu, to answer the prayers of the Pharaoh had promised to him " to rise the level of the Nile, to give some water and to make fertile fields ".
All that was made.
( Below the papyrus which tells this "legend" and how Khnemu took out Egypt from the famine. Note on the next-to-last line the symbol of Ptah or "DNA").

Other texts very clearly hint at the control which Ptah possessed on Waters of the Nile. This Great God and some others (in particular Thot) were nicknamed "the guards, the defenders, those who watch ", because they worked to avoid disasters and to warn peoples.
So, frescoes and drawings show Ptah, surrounded with the snake, its symbol (always think of the DNA which evokes interlaced snakes), "underground" which manages waters of the Nile.
In its work, the wars of gods and men, Sitchin gives us one of these drawings.
So, frescoes and drawings show Ptah, surrounded with the snake, his symbol (always think of the DNA which evokes interlaced snakes), "underground" and who manages the waters of the Nile.
In his book, The wars of gods and men, Sitchin gives us one of these drawings.

It is clarified to us that the isle of Abu where lived Ptah was just placed over the first falls of the Nile, in Aswan, what facilitated certainly his action on waters.

Ptah and the associated gods.
Let's see with whom Ptah was connected.
Originally, he was called Atoum.

Others associate him with Apsu.
Apsu is the sun of our solar system. Thus it makes sense to assimilate him to Ptah, but wrong.
As to associate Râ with Knoum or with Ptah is also inaccurate. But even there makes sense.
The solar, brilliant and compassionate aspect of Ptah (see his golden costume) connects him "automatically" to those who give heat and enjoyment: Knoum / creator, Apsu / Sun, Râ / Sun...
Nice gods in fact.

Ptah is represented entirely gold dressed, on a black stele, holding straight against him a stick at the same time Uas and Djed, such as presented at the opening of this blog.

This gold garment has a very strong symbolism on which I shall come back during our first meditation of contact with Ptah.

There is him on a gold frescoe

In Ptah is the absolute God creator, the one from whom the others were born, the one who created Earth and Heavens
He is less known than his sons Râ ( Mardouk in Sumer) or Thot (Ningishzidda in Sumer, or Quetzalcoatl in Mesoamerica).
Because standing on his stele, he does not take part in the endless rivalries, to the pettiness of these times. Very wisely, he remains above the fray.
He has a heavy task : to maintain the balance of the worlds, in particular the Good and the Evil. It is necessary to avoid any fall towards the dark abysses. But the men have to listen to him. Because of this attitude, he has appeared, - wrongly -, more "passive" than Horus or Amon-Râ.
Because of his creativity, Ptah becomes god of the craftsmen and of the creators, god of artists and architects.
The Egyptian high priests, in particular in Memphis, say about him:

" The one who showed himself as the heart,
the one who showed himself as the tongue,
under the appearance of Atoum,
is Ptah the very ancient who attributed the life to all the gods
and to their geniuses,
by this heart from whom the god Horus arises,
by this tongue from whom the god Thot arises, in Ptah ".
( NB: do not forget that in the genealogy of the gods, Marduk son of Enki / Ptah engendered three sons of whom Asar / Osiris, of whom Horus will be born. Horus is thus the grandson of Enki. Thot naturally is the son of Enki).

Another representation of the Great God, with both royal cobras put on by the symbols of both Egypt combined in Ptah.

The uprightness of Ptah on his stele embodies the righteousness of the immortal God, unchanging in his infinity, always present for his creation.
The royal blue background, as the green of his skin evokes power and growth.
( Aspects taken by Osiris, and which, by a singular buckle, will again be associated with Ptah).
The face is young, his eyes are big and opened.
Ptah is eternity thus eternal youth, he looks at his creation, and without fear nor blame, perceives beyond the veil of illusions.

He is depicted in books and tales, on papyri and sacred scrolls as being:

Ptah with beautiful face, master of truth, master of justice
Ptah who listens to the prayers
Ptah master of jubilees, master of eternity.

Ptah is love and benevolence.
His creativity exceeds the understanding, his strength also.
Strength of soul, strength of heart, strength of mind.

All that Ptah ordered was created, still explains us the religious of ancient times. In him, the constituents of the nature, the fauna and the flora are contained. He protects the universe and assures the durability of the royal office.

" Ptah conceives the world by the Thought of his heart
and gives it life by the magic of his Verb "

He often holds in hand or hung on on his stick (Uas or Ouas), the key of life or Ankh and the pillar orDjed(See image below)
These three combined symbols symbolize the three creator powers of Ptah:
. The power by the Ouas
The life by the Ânkh
The stability by the Djed.

Here is Ptah, on a fresco, with exceptionally the personified Djed behind him.

Ptah-Sokaris
Since the Ancient Empire, Ptah absorbs the appearances of Sokaris or Tatenen and becomes Ptah-Tatenen.
Sokaris and Tatenen are ancient divinities of Memphis.
Sokaris (see image below) always put on by the crown Atef, the attribute of Osiris, would be one of the appearances of Osiris.

So, Ptah-Sokaris-Osiris is god of the necropolises of Saqqarah and the other famous sites where were set up the royal pyramids.
Little by little, it will be make of Ptah a god mid-human being, the mid-hawk. (Evoking in this the future Horus).

Ptah-Taténen
Represented in "Tatenen", Ptah remains a vigorous young man, but this time put on by a crown with two high feathers which frame a solar disk.

Look at always the cobras, marks of both Egypt, of the divine power, and the protection against the enemies.
Tatenen embodies the underground fire which roars and lifts the Earth.
He is revered by the smiths and metallurgists of the ancient times. From there was born the worship ofHephaïstos, god of forges and fire.

Ptah-Tatenen is feared because the Egyptians believe that he generates earthquakes and jolts of the ground croute. It's of course false.
Ptah as Tatenen becomes master of jubilees, or Heb Sed, who celebrates 30 years of Pharaoh's reign.

Ptah - Apis
As many Gods in Egypt, we attribute to Ptah diverse forms and demonstrations as that of the Taurus Apis.
Apis was revered in the big temple of Ptah in Memphis and was buried with all the honors due to a god living in the Serapeum of Saqqarah.

Apis was a hypostasis of Ptah living in a sacred bull.

The Hout-Ka-Ptah of Memphis
Here is the "rebuilded" temple of Memphis where Ptah was revered.
A sphinx guarded the main entrance.

We shall conclude this non exhaustive post by what was called " Hymn to Ptah ", from the Papyrus Berlin 3048

Worship Ptah, father of (gods), To-Tjenen ( Tatenen) the elder of the primordial gods, at dawn.

Hail to you, Ptah, father of the gods,
To-Tjenen (Taténen) elder of the primordial gods,
sacred god to the noble shapes,
Very feared, who is located in the Headquarters-Venerable,
which authority is strong,
demonstrations prestigious,
the considerable strength
that prevails all in his power.
Respectable power, beloved,
in the face of prestigious appearance
Lord of the double feather,
And shiny ornaments,
Brilliant who makes the gods alive,
Radiating, who rises on his horizon,
Illuminating the Double - country of his charm,
Lord of light,
shining in brightness rises in every eye,
living that pierces the darkness,
shining sun disk
that runs the distant sky and crosses Douat.
The Pharaoh comes to you, O Ptah!
He comes to you, god with distinguished shapes !
Hail to you! In front of the primordial gods that you created
After being in existence as divine body,
Who has shaped his own body himself
While the sky was not yet come into existence,
That the earth was not yet come into existence,
That the flow had not sprung.
You shaped the earth;
You assembled your flesh,
You counted your members;
You were unique, made his place,
God who melted the Double - Country.
You had no father who engendered you
When you came to the existence,
No mother who gave birth to you.
Let us go, let us sing for him hymns!
He who created the gods, the men and all the animals,
Who created all the countries, the banks and the very-Green (= the sea),
on his behalf of creator of the Country!
Let us go, let us sing for him hymns !
He who brought the Nile outside its cave,
Who makes turn green the fruit tree,
Who creates the necessities of what goes out ceaselessly of him,
On his behalf respectable Noun! "

Traduction : André BARUCQ, François DAUMAS, Hymnes et prières de l’Égypte ancienne, 1980, p. 390-391, p. 394 , 399-400.

This hymn shows how the Egyptians had the understanding of a Unique God. And perceived a long time ago that the gods also have multiple facets that can be separated from each other, but the substance of the God Creator points out since the dawn of time.
The key is to know what God it's about.
Or rather, what God we choose.
